As the United Way of Central Maryland embarks on its “future-ready” planning for 2025, it is seeking input from MPN members to influence its next century of service. All Maryland Philanthropy Network members are invited to join this critical conversation lead by Franklyn Baker, President & CEO, and Martina Martin, Senior Vice President & Chief Operating Officer, to shape innovative programs and services that will benefit the community for years to come.
Join Maryland Philanthropy Network for an expanded opportunity for all MPN member networks to convene in our State Capitol to receive updates from state policy makers and sector leaders on the 2025 legislative session including key issues and priorities that affect Maryland communities include state budget impacts on philanthropy. An opportunity will be provided for affinity groups and collaboratives across the MPN network to delve deeper into policies specific to their issue areas with facilitated discuss with issue experts.

Few things impact us more deeply than the powerful photos and heart-wrenching stories of those devastated by natural disasters. Since they are typically geographically focused, community foundation know the best way to get donations where they are immediately needed — whether it be for medical supplies, shelter, food or unexpected needs brought on by the disaster. They can get money out rapidly to vetted nonprofits who can provide targeted and much-needed assistance to their community.
Maryland Philanthropy Network is requesting proposals from vendors to execute the design phase of a comprehensive Drupal website rebuild. MPN's website is a multi-purpose digital hub for numerous stakeholders including grantmaking organizations and philanthropic leaders, policymakers, nonprofit organizations, and other community members and interested users. Responses must be received no later than 5:00 PM ET on Friday, January 17, 2025.
