Funder Panel: A Conversation for Grantseekers
This program and the wait list are at capacity and we are no longer accepting registrations.
Maryland Philanthropy Network knows philanthropy cannot be successful without our partners in government and the nonprofit community. Therefore, we strive to take some of the mystery out of philanthropy and promote best practices in resource development and funder relationships and contribute to building a stronger nonprofit sector.
During this session, a panel of diverse funders will shed light on how they are approaching their grantmaking. Representatives from T. Rowe Price Foundation, the Annie E. Casey Foundation, the Baltimore Community Foundation, and the Abell Foundation will provide an overview of their initiatives, briefly describe their priorities, types of grants, application guidelines, and how and when grantmaking decisions are made through a racial equity lens.
We will spend some time in small group discussions for participants to connect with funders and one another.
This event is for individuals at any level of fundraising experience. Space is limited to 45 participants.
Because of the generous sponsorship of the T. Rowe Price Foundation, this event is free for attendees.
You must have a website account to register for events. Those who are not MPN members or do not already have a website account will need to request an account. Once the account has been approved, you will receive another e-mail containing information about how to set your password and log in to register for events. Please allow time for this process!
