Adults over the age of 65 have been significantly affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, causing communities to struggle with myriad challenges related to the shortcomings of health services and social supports for older adults.
As we age, our hearing declines and, for many, it can decline significantly. Almost all of us will experience hearing loss to some degree as we age.
When one of the air-conditioning units failed in late July, the Community Foundation of Washington County MD Inc. came up with the funding to replace the unit.
The Community Foundation has long been a conduit for hope and change in Frederick County.
