Administrative Professionals Appreciation Luncheon
Join Maryland Philanthropy Network as we celebrate the administrative professionals in our network with a special luncheon. Gather with your philanthropic peers as we recognize the work of secretaries, administrative assistants, receptionists, and other office professionals. This will be an opportunity to meet and build relationships with colleagues.
During the event, Dr. Rebecca Cisek of the Banium Family Foundation will host a workshop on managing up, down, and across the organization. The term “managing up” has gained popularity in the social sector in recent years. The Idealists define managing up as a method of career development based on consciously working for the mutual benefit of yourself and your boss. Learn more about how this skill can elevate your career and empower you to create a balanced work environment..
After learning about the varying methods and benefits of managing up, Terrarium Therapy will lead participants in a workshop to create beautiful, long-lasting succulent terrariums to take back to their offices. Your experience will include a glass globe terrarium, a variety of succulents, soil, preserved moss, and step-by-step instructions to keep by your workstation as a token of our appreciation for all that you do!
