A Conversation with Baltimore City’s New Housing Leaders
Maryland Philanthropy Network Members consistently note the impact of housing affordability and stability on many other grantmaking issue areas. In Maryland Philanthropy Network’s role of connecting members to policy makers, we are pleased to offer this introduction to Baltimore’s new Housing Commissioner, Michael Braverman, and Housing Authority Executive Director, Janet Abrahams. Both leaders will join us to discuss the City’s vision and priorities for housing; the new structure of both organizations; and how they will be working individually and collaboratively, as well as with partners in other sectors, to meet the many housing challenges we face in Baltimore.
We hope you will join us as we start an ongoing conversation with these new partners in City government.
After registering, consider sending questions for Commissioner Braverman or Director Abrahams in advance to Elisabeth Hyleck, Maryland Philanthropy Network Programs and Initiatives Director, ehyleck@marylandphilanthropy.org.
This program is for Maryland Philanthropy Network members only. Lunch will be served.
