Emergent Philanthropy Roundtable
Maryland Philanthropy Network's Emergent Philanthropy Roundtable is a space and opportunity for members to engage in nontraditional thinking about philanthropy rooted in the principles of adrienne maree brown’s Emergent Strategy. Together participants wrestle with big ideas and identify ways to transform grant practices to achieve a more just and equitable world.
Throughout 2022, each roundtable convening will be led by a rotating facilitator to allow members to practice the principles of emergent strategy and become more able to adapt to change more readily and act from the relationship level. The goal of the conversation is to build relationships with peer grantmakers and co-conspirators for transformative philanthropic practices and expose attendees to new ways of thinking and bold ideas suggested by the group itself.
This roundtable is open to all MPN members who want to discuss with peers new/renewed and emerging philanthropic practices.
