The Brown Family Foundation, established 30 years ago through the Baltimore Community Foundation (BCF), provides small grants to many Baltimore-based nonprofit organizations focused on education, health disparities and the arts. BCF staff sat down with founders Eddie and Sylvia Brown to discuss their inspiration for creating the Foundation as one part of their generous approach to philanthropy, and their giving journey over the last 30 years.
