Highlights from the Weinberg Foundation’s work in Baltimore
A new resource provides an overview of The Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Foundation’s grantmaking in the Baltimore community.
From 2021 through 2023, the Foundation has distributed nearly $150 million in grants in the Greater Baltimore region, aimed at improving housing stability; promoting health and well-being; creating paths to jobs and careers; helping youth succeed in school and beyond; and ensuring older adults are able to live with respect, dignity, and the support they need to remain independent.
Additionally, through the Baltimore City Community Grants Program, the Foundation offers one-time support to small nonprofits (with annual operating budgets of $500,000 or less) that provide direct services to low-income individuals and families in the city and align with the Foundation’s grantmaking priorities.
