The previous name reflected the organization's origins as a national collaborative of funders that made local workforce grants. Over time, the role evolved. Now, Shift Work Forward is a national catalyst partnering with local leaders to reshape how workforce systems operate. The new name reflects that broader impact and clearer direction.
