Policy Overview

Maryland Philanthropy Network seeks to grow and support our members capacity to engage in public policy. Guided by our organization’s vision for the future, we are committed to the promotion of positive and practical policy solutions to advance equity and justice in our state and country.

To achieve our goals, MPN exists as a forum where funders can engage in public policy work that will positively impact the communities they serve. This is a starting point and resource library to guide funders on their engagement journey.

Public Policy Committee

The Committee seeks to advise the Board on Maryland Philanthropy Network’s leadership in public policy, government relations, and public-private partnerships to bring ideas and insights of members to local, state, and national public policy discussions. The Committee meets four times a year.
