Two local organizations establish emergency assistance fund to help during COVID-19 crisis
Two local organizations are joining together to launch an emergency assistance fund to help the community through the COVID-19 crisis, especially the county's "working poor."
The United Way of Washington County and the Community Foundation of Washington County announced Tuesday they are creating a COVID-19 Emergency Assistance Fund. The fund will support Washington County community-based organizations who will help those adversely affected by the COVID-19 crisis, according to a news release from the local United Way.
