Impact Investing: A Local Perspective on Tips, Tools and Lessons Learned

Please join your colleagues to learn more about tips, tools and lessons learned in Impact Investing, as part of the Maryland Philanthropy Network and Mission Investors Exchange partnership series. 

Building on the momentum from the first in this 5-part series on impact investing, program 2 focuses on the local perspective using an impact investing ecosystem framework as the guide. 

Through brief presentations with concrete examples and small group peer-led exercises, participants will explore the following topics:

·         Recognizing the challenges and opportunities that can be addressed with impact investing

·         Understanding the elements of a healthy impact investing ecosystem including your foundation's role and fit

·         Employing practices to identify, encourage, support and build diverse, equitable and inclusive communities

·         Identifying the resources you (and your community) need in order to move ahead
