Focus on City Schools: A Budget Conversation with John Walker

Baltimore City Schools face a $130 million deficit and potentially 1,000 school-based layoffs. In January 2017, John Walker was appointed Interim Chief Financial Officer for the school district. Join us for our Focus on City Schools meeting with Mr. Walker as he provides an overview of the proposed 2017-2018 City Schools budget as well as discusses the City Schools deficit. There will be a brief presentation and then significant time for questions/answers and conversation.
