West Virginia Flood Recovery Conference Call
While the national media's attention is on the last week's RNC in Cleveland and now this week's DNC in Philadelphia, the needs for long-term recovery are still there for the over 3,000 households impacted by the late June flooding in West Virginia.
For the interim, Philanthropy WV is hosting a weekly conference call to update the local, state and national philanthropic community on what is taking place and ways to respond to the needs. The recovery is going to take 3 to 5 years as experts have shared. Please feel free to share this news with your member and colleagues via social media, websites, etc.

- Sharing of Resources (WV Legal Aid legal assistance)
- Corporate Giving's response so far
- Long-Term Recovery Plans established on the county and state level
Long-term plans are coming together and this Friday's call should provide some more details on what is underway to direct your giving interests.
