Empowering Older Adult Advocates Workgroup Meeting - Feedback on the Multisector Plan for Aging

Please join the Baltimore Seniors and Housing Collaborative’s Empowering Older Adult Advocates Workgroup in person or virtually for a meet and greet with Jenna Crawley, newly appointed Director of Multisector Planning and Age Friendly Initiatives at the Maryland Department of Aging. During this meeting, attendees will have the opportunity to meet Jenna and share their ideas on the best ways to reach older adults and those who work with them to obtain feedback on the vision for the state plan for aging. Jenna will also share some strategies advocates can take to support her work and the multisector plan for Maryland's older adults.

The Older Adult Advocacy workgroup helps foster the advocacy of older adults in Baltimore City on issues of concern to them.  In our initial meeting, we gathered some information about some small pockets of older adult advocacy/groups and talked about ways to bring these groups together to see if there might be potential to form a larger group or coalition.
