A Conversation with Jonathon Heyward, Music Director and Mark Hanson, President & CEO of the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra
Join the Arts Funders Affinity Group for a conversation with Mark Hanson, President & CEO and Jonathon Heyward, incoming Music Director of the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra (BSO). The arrival of a new Music Director is one of the most exciting times in an orchestra’s history. We’ll meet with the two leaders just prior to the launch of the 2023-24 season (in fact, the week of Jonathon’s official debut as Music Director!), which features programming that embraces excellence and diversity, to learn about their vision for the BSO, the current state of the institution, and other pertinent issues. Funders of arts and culture will have the opportunity to share their funding priorities and curiosities about this next chapter for the BSO.
