Conversation with Josh Sharfstein, MD, Johns Hopkins University and Elizabeth Kromm, PhD, Maryland Department of Health

Maryland Philanthropy Network’s Health Funders Affinity Group is pleased to host Dr. Josh Sharfstein, Vice Dean for Public Health Practice and Community Engagement at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and Chair of the Health Services Cost Review Commission (HSCRC) and  Dr. Elizabeth Kromm, Assistant Secretary, Population Health and Strategic Initiatives, Maryland Department of Health.

Drs. Sharfstein and Kromm’s presentation will focus on: 

• How philanthropy and the HSCRC can coordinate to promote innovation in the state’s new payment model. 
• Updates on the status of the leadership and programs at the Baltimore City Health Department.
• Updates on the Population Health Improvement Fund.
