Corporate Roundtable: Baltimore Small Business Technical Assistance Fund
When small businesses flourish, so do communities. The current financial environment places a greater burden on entrepreneurs of color. Grounded in this common understanding, members of Baltimore’s corporate, philanthropic, and private sectors have been working on a multi-year strategy focused on bringing much needed support to entrepreneurs of color. Housed at Baltimore Community Foundation and seeded by the Annie E. Casey Foundation, this effort is known as the Baltimore Small Business Technical Assistance Fund. This effort funds:
- organizational and leadership development,
- the implementation of sustainable growth strategies,
- the improvement of client delivery,
- the expansion of reporting and data management capabilities.
Join Christopher Rockey, Senior Vice President and Market Manager of Greater Maryland Community Development at PNC Bank, and James Wahls, Senior Investment Analyst at Annie E. Casey Foundation, to learn more about how this Fund has built a supportive ecosystem for small businesses owned by people of color.
This program is for Maryland Philanthropy Network members and invited guests only.
