Early Childhood Policy & Advocacy Opportunities Ahead - September 2023

Beth Morrow, Associate Director of Public Policy for Maryland Family Network, and Shanetta Martin, in her role as Director of Public Policy for MPN, will join us via Zoom for a legislative update and discussion about opportunities to advance policies and systems changes. Beth will provide a review of relevant developments from the 2023 session of the Maryland Legislature and look ahead to 2024. Shanetta will provide a brief update on MPN's policy and advocacy activities and participate in a dialogue with PN5 members about ways funders can be involved.

The PN5 Steering Committee will also share updates about a burgeoning partnership with MSDE, which is aligned with the priorities Dr. Shayna Cook shared with PN5 when she met with us in June.
