Fall 2024 Workforce Community Conversation Series on Transportation Barriers to Work: Innovative Ideas from Ohio

Tuesday, October 01, 2024, 3:00 - 4:00 PM

Lack of reliable transportation to work is one of the most vexing barriers for career seekers and businesses. In northeast Ohio, an urban and rural region that includes Cleveland and Akron, the Fund for Our Economic Future set out to tackle this transportation paradox: “NO CAR, NO JOB. NO JOB, NO CAR.”

Please join us to explore what was learned when up to $1Million was deployed to test new and innovative community-driven pilot projects to connect people to jobs and employers to the talent they needed.

This event is the second in a series of webinars sponsored by the Workforce Community Conversations project of the Baltimore Workforce Funders Collaborative.  View information on the 1st webinar of the series which took place on September16: Fall 2024 Workforce Community Conversation Series on Transportation Barriers To Work: Baltimore’s Transit Future.
