Focus on City Schools: Update on the 2024 Blueprint Implementation Plan

On May 1, 2024, Baltimore City Public Schools will submit their full local implementation plan for the Kirwan Blueprint for Maryland Future to both the Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) and the Accountability and Implementation Board (AIB). The City Schools’ initial Blueprint implementation plan was approved by the state's Accountability and Implementation Board in July 2023. This second plan responds to 23 questions posed by the AIB/MSDE about how policies, practices, and priorities across all 5 Blueprint pillars support a system that equitably serves all students and prepares them for success.
