Green Funders Legislative Debrief / Climate Solutions Now Act Implementation Update

Please join the  Green Funders Affinity Group for a combination Legislative Debrief and update about implementation of the Climate Solutions Now Act.  

From 2 – 3 pm, we’ll learn outcomes from this year’s Maryland General Assembly session. We’ll work to understand political forces that shape Maryland’s policy environment and legislative progress expected in the future. In addition, we’ll hear about the electric vehicle study with the Maryland Mitigation Working Group and gain insights into implementation of legislation.  

Our speakers will be: 

• Kristen Harbeson, Political Director, and Kim Coble, Executive Director, Maryland League of Conservation Voters 
• Caitlin (Cait) Kerr, Conservation & Climate Policy Analyst and Michelle Dietz, Director of Government Relations, The Nature Conservancy, Maryland/DC Chapter
• Josh Tulkin, Director, Maryland Chapter, Sierra Club 

Then from 3 – 4 pm, will be an update specifically about the work of the Climate Partners around implementation of the Climate Solutions Now Act (CSNA). You don’t need to be contributing to this work to join this portion of the session.
