Prenatal-to-Five Affinity Group Meeting - Effects of the Pandemic on Infants & Toddlers
There is evidence that children born during the pandemic are experiencing significant delays in cognitive, verbal, and motor development. These developmental gaps can be mitigated but need attention right away.
At this Prenatal to Five Affinity Group Meeting, participants will hear from Dr. Sean Deoni from Brown University, one of the nation’s top researchers on this subject, and from three Maryland-based programs that are working to support healthy development for infants and toddlers. The event will include time for affinity group members to share and discuss how funders are responding and what more could be done.
Lunch will not be served, but please feel free to bring your lunch. Drinks will be provided.
Maryland Philanthropy Network members interested in attending for the first time are encouraged to reach out to Marlo Nash prior to attending a meeting.
