Prenatal to Five Impact Collaborative May Meeting
The Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) will be receiving $500 M for early childhood from the American Recovery Plan. In preparation for our meeting with Steven Hicks, MSDE’s Assistant State Superintendent for the Early Childhood Division about this funding, we will be finalizing our recommendations on the best uses of that funding. We will be sharing what we’ve been learning from various Early Childhood Stakeholders over the last several weeks to inform those recommendations.
The Prenatal to Five Impact Collaborative (PN-5 Impact Collaborative) meets each month. This peer group is focused on learning together about the needs of pregnant women and families with children up to age 5 and how to best support them. This group is newly forming and any Maryland Philanthropy Network member who would like to connect and learn about investing in and supporting Prenatal to Five spaces is welcome.
Maryland Philanthropy Network members interested in joining are encouraged to reach out to Melissa Rock prior to attending a meeting.
