CANCELED | Public Policy Committee July Meeting

This meeting has been CANCELLED as MPN begins to think and evaluate its role in public policy.

At this Public Policy Committee meeting you will be hearing from MPN’s new president, Maggie Gunther Osborn about how she is thinking about public policy and the impact the current legislation may have on philanthropy. 

The Public Policy Committee serves as a clearinghouse of policy information, responsible for informing members on government policies affecting the charitable sector and member interest areas; a resource on philanthropic practice, responsible for advancing members’ public leadership and policy advocacy; and an advocate, responsible for advising Maryland Philanthropy Network on local, state, and federal legislation that impacts foundations and nonprofit organizations. The Committee meets quarterly.

All members are welcome to participate in this board committee meeting.  An agenda will be sent prior to the meeting.
