Supporting Baltimore Students to and through College
In 2024, three local philanthropies committed $50 million toward supporting Baltimore City students in enrolling in and graduating from college. These investments, over a 10-year period, were made to two local nonprofits, CollegeBound Foundation and Bridges Baltimore, and to help bring a national model called College Track to Baltimore.
Join Maryland Philanthropy Network’s Education Funders Affinity Group to learn more about the design of these three programs, how and where each operates, and what each contributes to the college access/persistence landscape. Our speakers will delineate the similarities and differences between the three programs, their relationship with Baltimore City schools, what the increased investment means for each organization, and what needs remain.
Our speakers will be:
- Charelle James, Founding Executive Site Director, College Track
- Cassie Motz, Executive Director, CollegeBound Foundation
- Rob Paymer, Executive Director, Bridges Baltimore
This program is for Maryland Philanthropy Network members only.
