Vaccine Equity - Town Hall with the Maryland Department of Health

Nonprofit organizations have a critical role to play in reaching people who have barriers to vaccine access, as well as ensuring that everyone receives accurate vaccine information from trusted messengers.

Maryland Nonprofits, Maryland Latinos Unidos, and Maryland Philanthropy Network welcome Dr. Jinlene Chan, Acting Deputy Secretary of the Department of Health is the state’s leader in vaccine access and equity, and Dr. Mark Martin of the Office of Minority Health for a discussion on Maryland state's vaccine distribution efforts with an emphasis on reaching hard-to-reach populations. Dr. Chan and Dr. Martin will share the latest developments and plans on vaccine equity and access, and how nonprofits can engage in ensuring all Maryland residents have an opportunity to be vaccinated. With a full 90 minutes for the webinar, we aim to have ample time for questions and dialogue.
