Prenatal to Five Impact Collaborative March Meeting
The Prenatal to Five Impact Collaborative (PN-5 Impact Collaborative) meets each month. This peer group is focused on learning together about the needs of pregnant women and families with children up to age 5 and how to best support them. This group is newly forming and any Maryland Philanthropy Network member who would like to connect and learn about investing in and supporting Prenatal to Five spaces is welcome.
Having spent our February meeting taking a deep dive into the importance of attachment to young children’s brain development, in March we will learn about four attachment based parenting supports. We will be joined by a number of Maryland’s infant and early childhood behavioral health experts:
- Lisa Berlin, PhD— Attachment Biobehavioral Catch-Up (ABC)
- Kay Connors, MSW, LCSW-C—Child Parent Psychotherapy,
- Joan Stine—Circle of Security, and
- Kim Cosgrove, LCSW-C & Carole Norris-Shortle, LCSW-C, LCMFT, RPT-S— PACT Therapeutic Nursery.
We will also have time to share exciting programs that impact the prenatal to 5 year-old population with each other.
Maryland Philanthropy Network members interested in joining are encouraged to reach out to Melissa Rock prior to attending a meeting.
