Maryland Philanthropy Network Exchange | Funder Sharing + Reflection
As the COVID-19 outbreak evolves, we are convening members, grantees, and government sector partners to stay connected, informed, and to support collaborative action.
So far this year we've heard from a number of public health experts and local leaders at the forefront of the COVID-19 vaccine efforts across the state as well as funders who have taken up advocacy efforts to support this huge undertaking during these bi-weekly calls. In other programs, we've learned more about how school districts are navigating learning loss and safe reopening; efforts to address increasing housing instability; economic impacts and disparities of the pandemic; and strategies to support older adults navigating an ever-expanding digital divide.
Join your Maryland Philanthropy Network colleagues for a chance to reflect on all these conversions, discuss actions you've taken, outstanding questions you may have, and to continue to process how philanthropy can best support communities in this particularly challenging time.
Maryland Philanthropy Network (MPN) plans to use these 60-minute exchanges to maintain a sense of how our community of funders is responding now and as the COVID-19 pandemic evolves. These gatherings will be recorded to allow our team to accurately summarize and distribute an executive summary to our membership and attendees. We will also use information from these regular exchanges to convene more focused conversations as needed. Please read our Statement about COVID-19 and note we have started compiling resources and information on our website and will continue to update the page as the situation and response unfolds.
This program is open to Maryland Philanthropy Network members and invited guests.
