Reconnect, Restore, Reimagine – Help Build City Schools Fall Recovery Plan

Reconnect, Restore, Reimagine – Help Build City Schools Fall Recovery Plan

Thursday, May 20, 2021, 2:30 - 4:00 PM

Education Funders are invited by Baltimore City Public Schools to a conversation on with the new Chief Academic Officer, Dr. Joan Dabrowski, and Tina Hike-Hubbard, Chief of Communications, Engagement and Enrollment, to discuss planning around fall recovery efforts for City Schools and the use of federal funds. Reconnect, Restore, Reimagine are the guiding goals to reopen schools for the 2021-2022 school year. Facilitated by Baltimore’s Promise, this meeting will be one of approximately fifteen such community meetings the district will hold to solicit input on the use of federal recovery dollars to build a plan that offers safe, effective in-person learning for students while providing families with a virtual learning option. The final plan will be presented to the community in early July. Make your voice heard at this important opportunity to inform the district on how you hope federal dollars are spent.

This program is for Maryland Philanthropy Network members and invited guests only.
