Join Maryland Philanthropy Network for a conversation with Secretary Paul Monteiro who leads the Maryland Department of Service and Civic Innovation. His office is one of the principal departments designated to lead the Governor’s Council on Innovation and Impact where philanthropy will have a seat at the table.

Secretary Monteiro will share information about the Governor’s Council on Civic Innovation and Impact and ways his department would like to work in partnership with the philanthropic community. He will also share information about the goals of the Maryland Department of Service and Civic Innovation, details about the Maryland Corps Service Year Option, youth opportunities after high school, and ways philanthropy can be supportive though public/private partnership opportunities.
