Fall 2024 Workforce Community Conversation Series on Transportation Barriers To Work: Baltimore’s Transit Future
Lack of reliable transportation to work is one of the most vexing barriers for individuals seeking careers across the Baltimore region. This fall, the Workforce Community Conversations group is focused on this topic. Through a series of one-hour webinars, the group will share in joint learning about transportation solutions followed by an in-person community conversation in late fall to move forward together.
Please join funders and workforce practitioners for this first webinar in the series. We will learn together about a regional effort to improve public transit in our region. Nick Henninger-Ayoub of the Greater Baltimore Committee will discuss six strategic priorities for Baltimore’s Transit Future. We will learn what business-led groups are advocating for and explore ways that workforce development organizations and partners can play a role to advance a more equitable transit system.
This webinar is the first in the series of Fall 2024 Workforce Community Conversations. Please join us for the 2nd webinar of the series on Tuesday, October 1: Fall 2024 Workforce Community Conversation Series on Transportation Barriers to Work: Innovative Ideas from Ohio.
Sponsored by the Baltimore Workforce Funders Collaborative. This event is for Maryland Philanthropy Network members and invited guests.
