Collected through FOMR data, surveys, and interviews with members, this new report from Exponent Philanthropy centers on the relevance of racial equity to their members’ mission, as well as board and staff demographics. The report also describes how racial equity relates to good governance, grantmaking, and investment practices.
We are a statewide membership association representing around 110 private and community foundations, intermediaries, corporations, donor advised funds, and public charities.

Join Maryland Philanthropy Network for our 2020 Advocacy Day in Annapolis. This trip to Annapolis is an opportunity for Maryland Philanthropy Network members to learn how they can impact systems-change by observing the legislative session, learning about the legislative process firsthand, building relationships with legislators, and educating members of the legislature.
People and communities of faith contribute to environmental causes, both by stewardship of their own properties and by advocating for environmental protections as a tenet of their faith. Pope Francis' encyclical has raised awareness of the role of faith leaders in calling for a range of environmental reforms. Three Maryland organizations that support activism in faith communities will share their work with us.
