Last November I had the great fortune of attending an event hosted by Maryland Philanthropy Network called Decolonizing Wealth: A Conversation with Edgar Villanueva.
The Horizon Foundation and its Speak(easy) Howard campaign will be hosting a new event designed to encourage Howard County residents to connect with their loved ones and start a conversation about their advance care plan.
Eight finalists have been selected from a pool of over 20 to vie for $100,000 in prizes in the Maryland Institute College of Art's third annual UP/Start Venture Competition.
