Join the Prenatal-to-Five (PN5) Affinity Group to learn about a strategic new partnership with the Maryland State Department of Education that is relevant to the successful implementation of the Blueprint for Maryland's Future. Martha Holleman of Strategic Thinking for Social Change will share a draft scope of work for a child care supply and demand study and Laura Weeldreyer of Maryland Family Network will provide a broader contextual lens, which helps illustrate how the supply and demand study is an integral component of implementing the Blueprint for Maryland's Future.
The Baltimore Workforce Funders Collaborative recently signed onto a national statement on good jobs. The broadly shared, widely endorsed definition of what constitutes a good job was released by the Good Jobs Champions Group, convened by the Families and Workers Fund and the Aspen Institute Economic Opportunities Program, in October 2022. Signed by over 100 leaders from business, labor, policy, philanthropy, academia, and workforce development it represents a historic step forward toward a future in which all work is valued; no one working full-time lives in or near poverty; companies and workers thrive alongside each other; and diverse talent is never overlooked.

All funders are welcome to join the Seniors & Housing Collaborative to learn about Chase Brexton and SAGE’s innovative multi-disciplinary health equity programs serving LGBTQ people over 50 and those aging with HIV. With housing as a frame, we’ll hear about their comprehensive primary and behavioral health care services, affordable housing options, and training about how to provide welcoming and affirming care and services.
