This learning opportunity is most appropriate to new grantseekers and to nonprofit organizations in Baltimore and central Maryland.
On January 31st, participants uttered these phrases in frustration and despair during United Way of Central Maryland’s Walk a Mile Experience (WAM), a poverty simulation, which the Maryland Philanthropy Network (Maryland Philanthropy Network) co-hosted with the Baltimore Women’s Giving Circle and the Jewish Women’s Giving Foundation, a project of The ASSOCIATED.
Presented by a program officer who reviews hundreds of proposals each year, the Maryland Philanthropy Network invites new grant proposal writers to a step-by-step presentation to writing a full proposal grantmakers will want to receive.
This event will now take place on the snow date of January 31.

A year ago, representatives from CASEL, The Collaborative for Academic, Social, Emotional Learning, and Baltimore City Schools shared data from CASEL's then-recent social and emotional landscape analysis of City Schools.
